Welcome !

Dear Webelo II Parents and Leaders,

Fall has arrived and it's time for TROOP 69's OPEN HOUSE.  Open House is a great opportunity for a child and parent to visit and find out more about our troop.  We hope you will consider Troop 69 as your scout embarks on the next phase of his scouting life!  Please take a look at the attachment for details.  Also, please forward to any other leader or parent of boys who are currently scouts or are seriously considering joining scouts.

If you'd like to attend, please contact us for a reservation and confirmation.  This is not a "drop-in" Open House.

  • If you already have a reservation we are asking you to quickly provide us with a number of attendees.
  • We have a terrific plan for both evenings and we will limit the number of scouts who attend each Open House so that we can give attention to everyone.
  • For that reason also we respectfully ask that each scout attending only bring one parent.

We hope to see you soon!  Please let me know if you have any questions - I am happy to help.

 Yours in Scouting,
 Dana Massey -  danamassey@gmail.com

Come Hike the Canyon - GA's Providence Canyon! Sign Up now Open!

Posted on Jan 2 2017 - 12:16pm

Providence Canyon State Park, January 27-29
Deadline for registration: January 20th, midnight.

Georgia’s “Little Grand Canyon” is a testament to the power of man’s influence on the land. Massive gullies as deep as 150 feet were caused simply by poor farming practices during the 1800s, yet today they make some of the prettiest photographs within the state. During the campout Scouts who are working on the Tenderfoot, Second And First Class ranks will have an opportunity to complete many of the camping sign offs. We are also planning to Perform a conservation project approved by the State Park to fulfill requirement 9c for those working on the camping merit badge.
